"Take Your Houseplants for a Walk Day, July 27, was created by American film, TV, and voice actor, Thomas Roy, and his wife, Ruth. The point of this oddly specific observance day is to expose plants to a new environment, one they might not experience otherwise, as it is specific to houseplants. For this off-beat holiday, we decided to take an Aloe plant for a nice stroll around the Auraria campus."
