We are excited to announce the inaugural Men of Color Leadership Summit 2024, hosted by the Brother-to-Brother program at MSU Denver. This event is set to take place on Friday, April 26, 2024, at the SpringHill Suites at MSU Denver. We are reaching out to request your assistance in promoting this empowering and inspirational event to our campus community. This event is free.
When? Friday, April 26, 2024. Full-day event (10am-5pm)

Theme: The Year of Excellence: Rise to the Occasion
Event Highlights:
- Engage with keynote speakers, experts in their respective fields, sharing invaluable insights and resources to elevate leadership skills and promote holistic well-being.
- Explore diverse topics through enriching panel discussions providing in-depth analysis and thoughtful conversation.
- Participate in interactive workshops designed to impart practical skills and effective strategies for fostering leadership and wellness.
- Take advantage of networking opportunities and receive career guidance aimed at propelling future success and advancement.
- Register by Friday, April 12, for a chance to win one of five, one-time $1000 scholarships available to eligible First-Generation MSU Denver students.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the event.
Who Can Attend:
- The summit will have an intentional focus on the issues impacting collegiate male-identified students of color. However, the summit is open to all male-identified students [e.g. - identify as African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander, and mixed race] who attend any of the three institutions on the Auraria Campus (CCD, MSU Denver, and CU Denver) are eligible to participate in the summit. In addition, male-identified faculty and staff from Auraria Campus are encouraged to participate in the summit. Attendees should have an interest in exploring important topics related to their identity, health and wellness, personal development, and career exploration.
