Civic Center Stargaze

Join Civic Center Stargaze for a celestial journey in the heart of the city! Experience moonrises and stargazing on the main promenade one Wednesday evening per month just after sunset. Delight in the enchanting atmosphere with hot beverages and dessert food trucks. This FREE event has limited space, so don't miss your chance to connect with the night sky.

Winter Bike to Work Day: Friday, February 9, 2024 from 6:00 am - 9:30 am

Join cyclists worldwide in celebrating Winter Bike to Work Day on February 9, 2024. This annual event encourages cyclists to brave the elements and commute to work on their bikes.

 

Stop by the City and County of Denver's Winter Bike to Work Day Station at 1437 Bannock St from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Learn safe biking practices and discover the latest in Denver's bicycle commuting scene. Test-ride Lime or Lyft e-scooters or e-bikes, and seize the opportunity to win exciting prizes from this year's event.

Impact:

This event takes place on Bannock Street between West Colfax Avenue and West 14th Avenue, which is closed to general traffic. Some metered spaces on West 14th Avenue will be bagged and unavailable for public parking.

 

When? Sunday, February 11 from 9:00 am to 10:15 am.

Where? Washington Park

 

Downtown Denver Rink at Skyline Park

The Rink is still open through FEBRUARY 11 and admission is free!

 

Winter Warm-up Donation Drive – half off skate rentals with donation of warming item

 

Mon–Thurs: 12 PM - 5 PM

Fri–Sat: 10 AM -10 PM

Sun: 11 AM - 6 PM

 

The breakdown of the rink is scheduled for February 12th through the 20th.

On Sunday, February 18th from 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM there will be closures of the traffic lanes, bike lane and sidewalk on Arapahoe St. between 16th Street and17th Street. Staff in vests will be present to help manage traffic and garage exiting.
