Emergency Dispatch Certificate at CCD

The Criminal Justice Program has a new Certificate in Emergency Dispatch. This Certificate leads to jobs in 911. The classes are CRJ 2001 Emergency Dispatch which includes a National Certification.

Other classes are CRJ 1010 Intro to CRJ, CRJ 2025 Crisis Intervention, PSY 1016 Stress Management and CRJ 2080 Internship with locations at Aurora, Jeffco, Denver and Auraria 911 Centers. The Instructor teaching the CRJ 2001 and CRJ 2025 classes is the Head of Training at Aurora 911.

CCD is building a replica 911 center for hands-on experience that will open in Fall 2025. These courses stack as into the CRJ AAS degree.
