Colorado Mission of Mercy (CMOM) is a large scale free, two-day dental event where patients to receive free dental care, with no questions asked. Community College of Denver (CCD) students graciously volunteered in the month of September! The clinic had almost 800 patients come through the doors. We are thoroughly impressed by our students and their commitment to assist and educate everyone, including those in need the most.
Patients are assessed and evaluated, and then provided the quality treatment that they need. COMOM welcomes everyone in need of dental care, regardless of employment, citizenship, or insurance status. Since its inception in 2007, COMOM has served 19,000 patients and provided $17,000,000 in donated dental care.
It is truly inspiring to know that the future patients of CCD's dental hygiene students will be taken great care of.
